How much space does it take to store it when I'm not using it?
There is not a great deal of difference in storage space among most rotisseries we've looked at. A couple manufacturers, that don't use the telescoping, under car, center tongue let you deal with storing the 21ft. pieces of pipe. The end units on most manufacturers collapse for small storage in a corner or against the wall. Here is a competitors unit with small casters.

Our bigger units, which don't have removable caster holders, have a third caster that swings out behind to make each end a free standing tricycle. They can be rolled against a wall nicely, as seen below.
