Things to look for vs. our competition.
Similarities:
- 360 degree rotation
- Adjustable center tongue under the center of the car body (mobile version only)
- Adjustment to center the car body so it is balanced for easy rotation
- Attachment arms with adjustable width for different car bodies
- Breaks down for compact storage
- All mig welded
- 3 legged end pieces with 3 casters (for a hard caster version)
- Tall enough to handle an 85" wide car or truck.
- Units are unpainted, but ready to paint or powder coat, as we drill a hole in each piece for hanging the part. Powder coat is available for $150.00 in black, John Deere green and yellow.
Our differences from theirs:
- We use 3/16" wall tubing in all of our units except for the downgraded center tongue on the 1500 lite series to match the competitors. One competitor uses 1/8" wall everywhere in the rotisserie and another one uses a 1/8" wall center tongue. Real center tongues are available for an extra $50.00.
- Our pivot pipe (the one that spins the car) is 3.5" O.D. heavy wall pipe, not 1.90" O.D. as one mfg. uses.
- 24" of centering adjustment that is infinitely variable, not 9" with 3" steps of one mfg or 18" of another. Pickup cabs and tall older cars need the long adjustment range.
- The attachment arms that bolt to the car are 15" long for plenty of working room around the trunk and firewall, not 12" with some others.
- Designed by a graduate engineer who won't make exaggerated claims about weight capacity. We design with 100% extra weight capacity for safety reasons. We rate our units with weighs claimed resting on the ends of the attachment arms, not double bolted to the frame so the frame helps keep the lift straight. We also don't demo a car resting on the back of the attachment arms to deceive you about the weight handling capacity in a real usage situation. We manufacture rotisseries with 1500 to 4000 lbs. capacities. We have done heavier ones that that, up to the 12,000 unit we built for the Navy.
- All units are shipped in a crate to prevent shipping damage, as we experienced with one of the samples we bought. We had to weld on a new caster.
- We are a "brick and morter" company run by a husband and wife team with several employees.. We are available at the office from 8am - 6pm Mon-Sat to answer questions, take orders or let you pick up your lift at our location.
- Our third leg under the body if the car is long enough that the end unit doesn't fall on it's nose.
- We offer a balance tool that allows the car to be balanced for rotation in 5 minutes.
